Meet Tasha

Inclusive, compassionate, and science-based support for dogs and their guardians

My Story

Hi, I’m Tasha Attwood, the heart behind Mutts & Mischief. For over a decade, I’ve been working with dogs and their guardians to build stronger, happier connections through kindness, play, and understanding.

As an autistic, neurodivergent person living with physical disabilities, I know what it means to face challenges — and I bring that empathy into every consultation, class, and resource I create. My goal is always to make learning accessible, stress-free, and supportive for both ends of the lead.

My Philosophy

Training isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection. I believe in:

  • Fun, not formality — real-life skills and enjoyable learning

  • Science-based, force-free methods — grounded in kindness, never punishment

  • Holistic care — considering your dog’s physical, emotional, and social needs

  • Collaboration — working with vets and other professionals to give your dog the best care possible

  • Inclusion — creating a safe, supportive space for every guardian

Approach & Ethics

  • 100% force-free and science-backed: pledged to multiple organisations against aversive methods.

  • Holistic focus: liaising with vets, physiotherapists, hydrotherapists, chiropractors, and other professionals to support dogs’ whole wellbeing.

  • Inclusive & accessible: wheelchair user, producing accessible videos with speech-to-text, welcoming guardians of all backgrounds.

  • No agenda: training is tailored to each dog and guardian, never a one-size-fits-all formula.

  • Accredited: INTODogs Accredited Canine Behaviourist & Trainer (Knowledge & Skills Assessed), ISCP Canine Dip.Prac, UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter member.
