One-to-One Behaviour Support

Personalised, whole-picture support for you and your dog — wherever you are.

I keep appointments limited each week so I can offer thoughtful, individual support. Whether something has changed, behaviour is becoming difficult, or you simply want to understand your dog better, we'll start with curiosity — looking at what's happening with your dog, around them, and between the individuals involved.

We Start With the Whole Picture

Behaviour rarely exists in isolation.

Through The Mischief Method™, we'll explore what's happening with your dog, around them, and between the individuals involved — rather than focusing only on the behaviour that's causing concern.

That might mean looking at wellbeing and health, environment, relationships, communication, previous experiences, learning, everyday routines and the practical realities of life for both you and your dog.

Sometimes the first step is training. Sometimes it isn't.

The aim isn't to make your dog behave. It's to understand what they need — and find a way forward that works for both of you.

What Happens When We Work Together?

One-to-One Behaviour Support — £90

Your first session

Our first session is a 60–90 minute Zoom conversation where we bring together everything we know about your dog — and everything you know about living alongside them.

We’ll explore what’s happening with your dog, around them, and between the individuals involved, looking at wellbeing, health, environment, relationships, learning, communication and everyday life.

There’s no expectation for your dog to perform on camera, and no judgement about where you’re starting from.

Together, we’ll begin making sense of the whole picture and work out what feels realistic, useful and achievable for both you and your dog.

Your consultation includes:

✓ A pre-consultation questionnaire
✓ A 60–90 minute individual Zoom consultation
✓ Review of your dog’s history, environment and behaviour
✓ A personalised plan built around your dog and your real life
✓ Your own private Dropbox folder for videos and ongoing resources
✓ A recording and written transcript of your session
✓ The Canine Compass health and behaviour resource
✓ Signposting or collaboration with your veterinary or wider professional team where appropriate

What Happens Next?

Before We Meet

Once you've booked, you'll receive your pre-consultation questionnaire and information about how to share videos with me.

This gives me time to begin getting to know your dog before we meet. Videos can be particularly helpful because they allow me to observe your dog in everyday situations without a new person entering their space.

Please never create or recreate a difficult situation just to get it on video. If you don't already have footage, that's absolutely okay.

When We Meet

We'll meet on Zoom for 60–90 minutes and work through what's happening together.

This isn't an assessment where you or your dog need to get anything “right”. Your dog can sleep, wander off, play, bark, leave the room or choose not to be involved at all.

We'll talk, observe where appropriate, explore the wider picture and begin deciding what might help — together.

After We Meet

You'll have access to your recording and transcript, alongside your personalised plan and relevant resources.

If something needs further exploration — perhaps pain, health, movement, nutrition or another area outside my professional scope — I'll help you understand what we're looking for and why, so you're better equipped to have that conversation with the appropriate professional.

Where appropriate and with your consent, I can also collaborate with the wider professionals involved in your dog's care.

Health Is Part of the Picture

Behaviour and physical wellbeing don't exist separately.

Changes in behaviour can sometimes be connected with pain, discomfort, movement, sleep, digestion, medication, sensory changes or other aspects of health. That doesn't mean we'll assume something is medically wrong — but it does mean we won't ignore the possibility.

As part of The Mischief Method™, I may look at your dog's movement, posture and everyday behaviour alongside the information you share with me. My Canine Conditioning Coach training can also help me recognise when something about a dog's movement may warrant further exploration.

I don't diagnose medical conditions.

Instead, if something raises a question, we'll talk about what I've noticed, what information may be missing and which appropriately qualified professional may be best placed to explore it further — whether that's your vet, a veterinary specialist, canine physiotherapist, McTimoney practitioner or another relevant professional.

The Canine Compass

You'll also receive access to the Canine Compass — a resource designed to help you explore and record the wider physical and behavioural picture.

It can help you gather useful observations, notice patterns and feel better equipped for conversations with the professionals involved in your dog's care.

You shouldn't have to become a behaviourist or veterinary professional to advocate for your dog. You should be supported to understand the questions we're asking and why we're asking them.
