Why This Matters for You & Your Dog

Qualifications matter — but what matters most is how that learning is used.

My education spans behaviour, training, health, enrichment, collaborative care and the wider human–dog relationship. It helps me look beyond a behaviour in isolation and consider the whole picture: the individual dog, their physical and emotional wellbeing, their environment, their experiences, and the people sharing their life.

No qualification means we ever finish learning. My practice continues to develop as evidence evolves, dogs and their guardians teach me more, and collaboration with other professionals brings new perspectives.

​

The aim isn't to fit every dog into the same method. It's to bring knowledge, curiosity and compassion together to find support that makes sense for the dog and humans in front of me.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Professional learning doesn't stop with a qualification.

​

I regularly undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through courses, workshops, webinars, conferences and independent study. This ongoing learning helps me keep my knowledge current, question and reflect on my practice, and respond as our understanding of dogs continues to develop.
