What a Typical Class Looks Like

Every session is designed to feel calm, supportive, and easy to follow — for both you and your dog.

Here’s what you can expect:

Settling In

We start gently.

You and your dog have time to settle into the space, with no pressure to “perform” straight away. This helps everyone feel comfortable and ready to learn.

Introduction to the Game

I’ll guide you through a simple, practical game designed to support real-life skills — explaining:

  • What the game is

  • Why it matters

  • How it helps your individual dog

Guided Practice

You’ll practise together in real time, with gentle support and feedback.

There’s no rush — you can go at your own pace, and adapt things to suit your dog.

Understanding Your Dog

We explore what your dog is communicating, helping you build confidence in reading and responding to them.

Because understanding your dog is just as important as the training itself.

Wrap-Up & Next Steps

We finish with:

  • A simple homework challenge

  • Clear guidance on what to focus on during the week

  • Space for questions if you need it

After Class

You’ll receive:

  • A recording of the session

  • Step-by-step tutorials to refer back to

  • Ongoing support to help you stay on track

A Gentle Reminder

There’s no expectation for your dog to “get it right”.

This is a space for learning, exploring, and building confidence — together.

Cameras on or off — whatever feels comfortable for you.

Testimonials

A white dog in a red harness standing on a snowy log, promoting force-free and holistic dog training in natural environments.

"Tasha is one of the most knowledgeable and skilled trainers/behaviourists I have ever come across. Not only are they passionate about what they do, but they are as deeply about your dog as you are. Tasha uses science-based, force-free methods and is constantly updating their CPD. Which means they are always my go-to person for absolutely everything!

The first thing that drew me to Tasha was how understanding, empathetic, and trustworthy they are. These characteristics are incredibly important to me as I feel more at ease with someone that is non-judgemental but also incredibly skilled. 100 out of 10!
