🎃 KEEPING PAWS SAFE THIS HALLOWEEN 👻

Halloween brings treats, decorations, costumes and visitors—but some dogs may find the evening more tricky than enchanting.

Swipe through for a few simple ways to help keep paws safe:

🍫 Keep chocolate and sweets securely out of reach

🍬 Check sugar-free products for xylitol

🍭 Store wrappers, lolly sticks and treat bags safely

🕸️ Prevent costumes and decorations from becoming chew toys

🏡 Provide a quiet, comfortable space away from visitors and unfamiliar costumes

Some dogs may enjoy being involved, while others will feel safer watching from a distance or resting somewhere undisturbed. Let your dog choose what feels comfortable for them—there is no requirement to join the festivities.

If your dog eats chocolate, sweets containing xylitol or another potentially harmful item, contact your veterinary practice promptly.

Save and share this little Halloween reminder for fellow dog guardians. 🩵🐾🎃
